Under support of the Government and in frames of the United Agroproject , a greenhouse enterprise, - Ltd. Mza Chitili equipped according to the contemporary standards was constructed in the Marneuli Municipality. The Company is a beneficiary of the PreferentialAgroCredit Program. An investment in the total amount of 1 142 000 USD dollars was implemented for arranging of the enterprise, from which an amount equal to 442 000 USD dollars represents a preferential agricultural credit. The enterprise employs 30 people, production of 30 mln. units of greenhouse seeding will be possible on a yearly basis. The product is sold on the local market. The Director of the Agricultural Projects Management Agency, Revaz Asatiani, the Ambassador of the Turkish Republic in Georgia Jeren Iazgan and the Deputy Governor of the Shida-Kartli Zaur Dargali visited the newly constructed greenhouse enterprise. The greenhouse enterprise is spread on 11 000 sq. me land parcel, where seeding of different vegetables (tomatoes, eggplants, pepper, salad leaves, watermelon, melon, cabbage, celery (common and budded)) are being cultivated. It is remarkable, that Georgian farmers cooperating with the stated seeding production enterprise will enjoy a support of agronomists which will render a professional assistance to provide harvesting of the high quality and plentiful product. Since the year of 2013 the Agricultural Projects Management Agency of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, for the purpose of supporting of creation of new enterprises, has been implemented many projects. In frames of the projects, preferential loans are issued for creation of a new enterprise as well as for widening of the already existing enterprises. On the current stage, in frames of the United Agricultural Project more than 845 existing and 170 new enterprises have received financing. The Agricultural Projects Management Agency, in scopes of the Produce in Georgia Business, is implementing the United Agroproject, which is designed for long-termed development and is focused on creation of a kind of the environment which will support increasing of competitiveness in the agricultural sector, sustainable upgrading of production of high quality products, and implementing of international standards applicable in the field of safety of food.
