Levan Dolidze, the manager of the "preferential agro-credit" project, along with Irakli Kadagishvili, the Governor of Kakheti region and the representatives of the local self-government visited the apicultural enterprise Taplikaci LLC, equipped with modern standards, in Akhmeta Municipality. The apicultural enterprise Taplikaci LLC produces 25,000 hive frames, 28,000 honeycombs and 6 tons of honey throughout the season. 8 people are employed in the enterprise. The product is realized on the local market. The enterprise was opened in 2014. The Company is a beneficiary of the Project "preferential agro credit". In total 60 000 US dollars was invested in the enterprise, 30 000 USD out of which amounts to preferential agro credit and 30 000 USD is the investment of the beneficiary. Since 2013, the Project Management Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture has been implementing various projects for creating new enterprises. Within the projects, preferential loans will be allocated for the creation of new enterprises, as well as for the expansion of the existing ones. As of today, more than 845 active and 170 new enterprises have been financed under the project. 55 new enterprises have been created in Kakheti region and 120 enterprises have been expanded. Within the framework of the Agricultural Project Management Agency "Produce in Georgia - Business", is implementing the "United AgroProject", which is designed for the long-term development and aims at creating the environment that will contribute to improving competitiveness in agriculture, stable growth of producing high quality products, the establishment of food safety international standards.
