The meeting held in order to share the experience of the National Paying Agency of Lithuania is one of the activities planned in the process of the institutional reform of the Rural Development Agency, the transformation of the Agency into a Paying Agency.

Issues related to information technologies and databases in the field of agriculture were discussed at the meeting. Attention was focused on the need to transform existing systems and recommendations related to modeling.

Alexi Potapov, the head of the Information Technologies Department of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, attended the working meeting together with the first deputy director of the Rural Development Agency, Giorgi Fantsulaia, and the deputy directors, Giorgi Jibladze and Natalia Kharatishvili.
