According to the draft law of Georgia on the state budget of Georgia for 2023, the budget in the agricultural sector has increased by 15.7%. 

The increase of the budget in the direction of promoting Georgian agro-food products is of special importance. Diversification of international markets is the main lever, which should ensure the sale of high-quality Georgian agricultural products.

It is important for the Government of Georgia to promote the export of highly competitive agricultural products and to diversify markets. For this purpose,  the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture participates in a number of international exhibitions during the year and offers platforms to Georgian entrepreneurs to promote their products. It is important to note that each international exhibition is an opportunity for Georgian agricultural producers to start exporting competitive Georgian products to international markets.

In recent years, the export of Georgian agricultural products to various international markets has increased, among which the countries of the European Union and the Persian Gulf are particularly noteworthy. In order to promote the sale of products produced by Georgian entrepreneurs and farmers, the promotion activities of Georgian agro-food products is of the utmost importance, which provides more opportunities under the conditions of an increased budget.
