The delegation of the Rural Development Agency was on a working visit to the Kingdom of Spain within the framework of the "Modernization of Vocational Education in Georgian Agriculture (VET)" project
Within the framework of the visit, the director of the Rural Development Agency, Davit Tsitlidze, together with the members of the delegation, held meetings with the representatives of the State Agro-Insurance Agency of the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, as well as with companies and cooperatives working in different areas of agriculture.
The members of the delegation got acquainted with the practice of using innovative and climate-smart technologies in agriculture, the experience of leading cooperatives and associations.
Within the framework of the visit, a meeting was held with Nato Chikovani, Chargé d'affaires of the Embassy of Georgia in the Kingdom of Spain.
The working visit to the Kingdom of Spain was organized by the UN Development Program "Modernization of Vocational Education Systems in Georgian Agriculture" project. The aim of the mentioned project is to promote the improvement of the quality of agricultural extension services, which implies the increase of available information on innovative and climate-smart technologies and the introduction of digital extension services.
