In recent years, with the support of state programs, modern perennial orchards have been planted on tens of thousands of hectares; the cultivation of annual crops has been facilitated; Year by year, orchard fruits are growing and can be harvested, accordingly the demand is increasing for harvesting equipment, including combine harvesters, which is one of the expensive equipment. In order to facilitate the harvesting and storage of the obtained crops within the agro terms, it is important to increase the state support for the farmers in the direction of purchasing the harvesting equipment for both perennial and annual crops.

In 2020-2021, within the framework of the " Harvesting Agricultural Machinery Co-financing Program", 408 units of agricultural machinery were purchased, and the state co-financing amounted to 13,102,926 GEL.
