At the meeting, the possibilities of development of the extension electronic platform were discussed in order to make sectoral consultation and access to agrarian information more accessible to farmers.

The electronic extension platform includes several digital channels, including a remote service, an e-library and a unified network of demonstration sites.

The meeting was held within the framework of the project "Modernization of the Professional Education System in Georgian Agriculture", the purpose of which is to promote the improvement of the quality of agricultural extension services, increase the availability of information about climate-smart technologies and introduce digital extension services.

Representatives of the Rural Development Agency and the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture attended the working meeting.
