The Georgian National Pavilion was presented for the first time at the International Agricultural Exhibition Fruit Attraction 2025, held in Madrid
With the support of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and the organization of the Rural Development Agency, the Georgian National Pavilion was presented for the first time at the Fruit Attraction 2025 international exhibition held in Madrid, Kingdom of Spain.
The Georgian pavilion featured stands of blueberry, nut, and spice-producing companies: Blue Bird Berries, Golden Farms, S.R.T., Agrolane, Agro Valley, Gentry Investments, Alpine Spices, Agritach, and Khoni Plantations.
Within the framework of the exhibition, Nika Urushadze, Acting Deputy Director of the Rural Development Agency, together with Shota Tsukoshvili, Director of the Blueberry Producers Association, and blueberry producers represented in the Georgian pavilion, met with Mario Stetta, Chairman of the International Blueberry Organization.
During the meeting, the potential of Georgia’s blueberry sector was discussed. Mr. Stetta noted that Georgia has unique potential to become one of the key players in the blueberry supply chain between Europe and Asia.
According to the statement of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Kingdom of Spain, Aleksandre Chkuaseli, the Embassy of Georgia actively promotes the participation of Georgian companies in international exhibitions to increase global awareness of Georgian products.
More than 2,200 companies from 150 countries participated in the Fruit Attraction international exhibition, which was attended by over 120,000 visitors.
