According to the decision of the Government of Georgia, a program will be implemented to stimulate sales of industrial apple. The goal of this program is to completely sell the apple harvest and generate income for the farmers.

Under the program, in case of purchase of industrial apple, the state subsidy will be given to those fruit processing companies, which will purchase 1 kg of industrial apple from persons engaged in fruit growing for not less than 0.22 GEL until December 15, 2021. The Rural Development Agency will issue a subsidy in the amount of 0.10 GEL per 1 kg of the fruit.

A coordination headquarters will be established to organize delivery of Industrial apple to enterprises.
