The company "Natural 7" is one of the companies registered in the coordination headquarters for the promotion of substandard apple sales. This year, more than 5,500 tons of substandard apples were processed at the plant under the program.
Within the framework of the state program, the fruit processing enterprises in Shida Kartli region continue to receive substandard apples. The total number of apples processed by 12 companies involved in the substandard apple sales promotion program was more than 31,000 tons.
"It should be noted that Shida Kartli is in the first place in terms of apple production. Timely housing of apple crop is especially important for farmers. Supporting the sale of substandard apples within the framework of the state program will ensure the supply of raw materials to fruit processing enterprises, said Abel Abesadze, Deputy State Representative of Shida Kartli.
With the support of the state program to promote the sale of substandard apples, farmers will be able to deliver substandard apples at no less than 22 tetri till December 15 in the fruit processing enterprises involved in the program. Under the program, in case of purchase of substandard apples, the state subsidy is set at 10 tetri per 1 kg of substandard apples.
