In Tsalka Municipality, Kvemo Kartli region, a new enterprise the dairy factory “Vita Products” funded under the “United AgroProject” is functioning; within the “Co-financing project of new enterprises for processing and storage of agricultural products” the company was awarded with 178 712 USD state co-financing and 223 390 USD of “preferential AgroCredit” for building up the enterprise. The construction of the enterprise was finished in November 2015, in which 15 local residents are employed. More than 3000 tons of raw materials are processed in “Vita Products” and various kinds of cheese and butter are produced per year. Products are mainly sold in local market.
