LLC “Zekari”, the plant equipped with modern standards, was created with financial support of the state, within the frameworks of the “United AgroProject”. About 996 000 GEL was invested in the plant in total, out of this 428 000 GEL is the grant and the remaining 461 000 GEL belongs to preferential agrocredit. 12 tons of milk can be processed by the plant daily and three types of cheese are produced: Georgian, Imeretian and Sulguni. Products are sold at local market. 15 people are employed in the processing plant. Implementation of International Standard of Food Safety (HACCP) in the company by the support of Agricultural Projects Management Agency is planned for 2019 year.
