Objectives and limitation of the projects

The program envisages the promotion of new entrepreneurial activities in mountainous settlements of Georgia.

Both, agricultural and nonagricultural entrepreneurial activities will be financed within the scopes of the Program, providing the purchase/creation of permanent assets (purchase and installation of machinery / equipment and construction / repair works of facilities) and financing of specialized types of vehicles needed for production.

Following activities shall not be financed:

• Primary production of agricultural sector;
• Production of tobacco;
• Gambling;
• Retail facilities;
• Pawnshop service;
• Extremal sport and related services;
• Developer activities (including programming activities, Software development);
• Electronic business;
• Transport service;
• Construction (developer) activities;
• Arrangement of slaughterhouse;
• Political, religious and charitable activities;
• Activities related to the production of military, nuclear and dangerous substances;
• Arrangement of hotels and catering facilities in Bakuriani township, Stepantsminda township, Gudauri township and Mestia township will not be financed;
• Purchase of immovable property and motor vehicles;
• Purchase of agricultural machinery and implements. 

Activities funded under the present Program should have only the fixed location.
