Receiving applications for participation in the Co-financing program for harvesting agricultural machinery will begin on March 16 at 12:00

To receive co-financing for harvesting agricultural machinery, it will be possible to fill out an electronic application starting from March 16 at 12:00 on the Rural Development Agency’s website www.rda.gov.ge. Applications will be accepted until the exhaustion of the current year’s program budget of 5 million GEL.

The amount of co-financing from the Rural Development Agency per beneficiary, in the case of agricultural machinery intended for harvesting, shall not exceed 30%, but no more than 250,000 GEL, and in the case of hand-held tea harvesting machinery − no more than 50%, but no more than 1,000 GEL.

According to the established conditions of the program, the agricultural machinery to be purchased must be new (not previously used), must have been produced no earlier than two calendar years before the purchase, and the machinery must be covered by warranty conditions for no less than 6 months from the date of submission of the application.

The goal of the state program is to increase accessibility to harvesting agricultural machinery.

Within the framework of the state Co-financing program for harvesting agricultural machinery, from the start of the program in 2019 until December 31, 2025, the Rural Development Agency has co-financed the purchase of more than 1,000 units of various types of harvesting machinery with a value of more than 121 million GEL, with co-financing exceeding 42 million GEL.
