At the prime minister's initiative, on May 10 this year, the "State Program for Supporting of Agricultural Land Owners" was launched. The budget of the program is 35 million GEL.

In the framework of the state program, more than 100,000 farmers have already received agrocredits. More than 1,200 farmers have already activated the agro-card, and 340 of them have already used state aid and cashed in the agro-shops in specialized shops.

Credit for agro-cards for program beneficiaries is accrued in stages. The deadline for applying the points accrued on agro cards is November 30, 2022.

Under the program, the subsidy will be given from 0.25 ha to 1.25 ha, including landowners / co-owners, at the rate of 300 GEL per 1 ha. More than 300 thousand smallholder farmers will benefit from the program. Cash withdrawal at this stage is available in more than 300 specialized stores throughout Georgia. The beneficiary farmers of the program will be served by more than 500 trade facilities in stages.
