In 2024, over 10,000 women interested in agricultural activities received consultations

Agricultural extension services are implemented nationwide through the Rural Development Agency's 9 regional offices and 45 municipal informational-consultative centers.

The primary goal of their activities is to enhance farmers' knowledge in the agricultural sector and provide consultative services, both in terms of specific fields and in delivering information about the projects and programs implemented by the agency.

It is noteworthy that one of the main objectives of the Rural Development Agency's gender strategy is to ensure the effectiveness of institutional mechanisms for women's economic empowerment, particularly by strengthening regional extension centers.Throughout 2024, consultations were provided by the regional office and municipal center staff under office, field, and remote conditions, reaching over 10,000 women interested in agricultural activities.
