In the frames of the project Plant the Future, Deveplus Ltd. planted the walnut garden in the town of Bolnisi, Bolnisi District of Kvemo Kartli Region. The representative of the Agricultural Project Management Agency Mr. Levan Dolidze together with local self-government representatives visited the walnut garden planted on 5 hectares by Deveplus Ltd.. The beneficiary involved in the program in 2016 and for gardening and arrangement of irrigation systems received the state funding of 42,146 GEL, where 15, 225 GEL for planting and 8,023 GEL for drip systems. Within the framework of the project Plant the Future, new gardens were planted on 3,758 hectares and the state funding amounted to 18,894, 338 million GEL. In Kvemo Kartli Region the gardens were planted on 544 ha of land. Within the framework of the Produce in Georgia Business program, the Agricultural Project Management Agency is implementing the Unified AgroProject, which is designed for long-term development and its purpose is to create an environment that will promote competition in agriculture, stable growth of high quality products and introduction of the international food safety standards.
