The Minister of Agriculture of Georgia spoke in detail about the ongoing and implemented projects of the Agricultural Project Management Agency - preferential agricultural loans, co- financing of the agro-enterprises, agricultural insurance, Plant the Future, support of the spring activities of small land owner farmers, Georgian tea. Each project has been developed by the Ministry of Agriculture through a unified vision of development of the agricultural industry and relevant strategy in mind. Within the projects, Agriculture Projects Management Agency had interacted with 1,000,000 people. Interested beneficiaries have the opportunity to create and implement primary and processing agricultural industry plants and implement the agro standards. Considering these factors the communication with the population gas become versatile. In this respect, with the view of increase the effectiveness of communication, to simplify identification of the relevant/required projects for the interested beneficiaries, to provide a common strategy and present the a correct positioning the ongoing and planned projects of the Agricultural Project Management Agency are united under a common cover United Agroproject Based on the evaluation of the work done, the projects are constantly being improved and the number of the directions increases. As of the current data, within projects implemented by the Agricultural Project Management Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia: 26 300 loans have been granted, including 24 426 loans with the total amount of 693,960,821 GEL and 1,874 loans with the total amount of 202,557,257 USD; 150 new agricultural enterprises have been created; 700 primary and processing agricultural industry plants have been expanded/re-equipped; The crop with the value up to 200 000 000 GEL has been insured; Annually assistance is provided to over 700 000 small land owner farmers and more than 200 thousand hectares of land in their ownership has been cultivated.
