Enterprise of mixed fodder the LTD Invet Feed equipped with modern standards was founded by the support of state financial aid in 2016 year in municipality of Mtskheta. Raw materials are purchased by the Company from local farmers, as well as through import. There are 20 individuals employed in the Company and 2000-3000 tons of mixed fodder for different age groups of poultry and animals are produced annually by the Company. Currently the realization of production is carried out at local market but export of products is planned for future. In March of 2017 year, French Company Bureau Veritas awarded the HACPP Certificate to the Ltd Invet Feed. The above mentioned became possible within the frameworks of the cooperation of USAID/REAP and Agricultural Projects Management Agency targeting on the implementation of management systems and standards of food safety at beneficiary factories by the endeavor and co-financing of USAID/REAP and Agency (50% - USAID/REAP, 30% - Agency and 20% - company). It is anticipated that after the certification procedure the LTD Invet Feed will be able to establish the business contacts with more foreign purchaser. Within the frameworks of the agreement drawn up between the USAID/REAP and the Agency, currently the support for implementation of HACCP system and ISO 22 000 standard is being provided by the above mentioned agencies to 13 agricultural businesses.
