A modern standard poultry farm of Individual Entrepreneur Giorgi Khazaradze has been created and started functioning since 2017 in Terjola Municipality within the framework of the "Unified AgroProject". Mr. Giorgi Jibladze, the Deputy Director of Agriculture Project Management Agency visited the farm together with local self-government representatives. I/E Giorgi Khazaradze's poultry farm produces 18 tons of steak chicken in a month. The product is sold out on the local market; at present the farm employs 10 people. I/E Giorgi Khazaradze is the beneficiary of the preferential agro-credit program. The amount of preferential agro-credit used for establishing an enterprise is 100 323 USD. Since 2013, the Project Management Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture has been implementing various projects for creating new enterprises. Preferential loans are issued within the copes of the project for establishment of new enterprises as well as for expansion of the existing ones. At this stage, more than 750 functioning and 158 new enterprises have been financed.
