The goal of the Innovative Technologies Grant Program is to support the development of knowledge and skills among farmers in Georgia's regions, particularly to increase the productivity and income of small-scale farmers through the enhancement and implementation of various innovative technologies.
The program aims to promote the implementation of innovative and climate-smart agricultural technologies for rural residents by supporting the execution of startup projects.
The program will be implemented in the Imereti region and the Autonomous Republic of Adjara.
The program will be implemented by the agency.
The program is funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) within the framework of the UNDP project: Modernization of the Vocational Education System in Agriculture in Georgia (Phase 3).
Within the program, the agency's co-financing for each potential beneficiary will amount to no more than 50% of the value of the goods to be purchased, but not exceeding 5,000 GEL. In the case of women, the co-financing will be no more than 60%, but also not exceeding 5,000 GEL.
