About the program

The program of co-financing of energy-efficient stoves is carried out within the framework of the project "Promoting the implementation of the reform of the forestry sector in Georgia to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases caused by forest degradation".

Purpose and tasks of the Program 

The purpose of the Program is to stimulate the demand of the population in order to purchase the energy-efficient stoves.  The target of the program is to protect the rural environment, sustainable use of natural resources and support of climate change mitigation measures for regional population (households) through co-financing the purchase of energy-efficient stoves. 

Geographic area for project implementation 

The program will be implemented on the entire territory of Georgia, (except the self-governing cities).
