Co-financing of energy-efficient stoves

Individuals, interested to purchase energy-efficient stoves are afforded the possibility to receive co-financing within the frameworks of the component. 

Co-financing amounts to 50% of the cost of a stove, but no more than 300 GEL.

In the case that the stove must be placed in a village(s) adjacent to the dividing line and/or if the beneficiary receives the following types of assistance/aid from the LEPL – Social Service Agency and/or the LEPL Agency for IDPs, Eco-Migrants and Livelihood Provision: state pension; state subsidy; state compensation for persons with disabilities; subsistence allowance; assistance for persons permanently residing in high-mountain settlements; state compensation granted after the death of a breadwinner; social assistance for damage caused by health impairment during the performance of labor duties; social assistance for persons employed in underground mining operations (mines and quarries); and/or has been granted the status of an internally displaced person and/or has been granted the status of a family affected by a natural disaster and subject to relocation (eco-migrants), the co-financing is determined at 75%, but not more than 300 GEL.

Energy-efficient stoves complying with criteria (parameters) will be financed within the frameworks of the program.

Co-financing of a single stove per household is foreseen by the program. The mentioned should be proved by the beneficiary while submitting the application.
