Program Objectives 

The following objectives will be funded within the program:

• Installation of drip irrigation systems (including fertigation and filtration systems) for annual crops and/or perennial crops such as strawberries and/or alfalfa;
• Installation of sprinkler irrigation systems (including fertigation and filtration systems) for  annual crops and/or perennial crops such as strawberries and/or alfalfa;
• Co-financing for the establishment of greenhouse farming;
• Co-financing for the installation of agrometeorological stations for the primary production of annual and/or perennial crops;
• Co-financing of aAgricultural implements (such as a chisel plow with a roller, mulch/film laying machine, rotary-type inter-row soil loosening cultivator—single-sided, or any other agricultural implement, including climate-smart ones, except for those used for transportation purposes) and/or agricultural machinery (such as a hand tractor/motor-block with a power of  no less than 7 Horse Power, or a 7+ HP+  motor-block together with an proper implements set used for agricultural work). 
• Co-financing for the installation of solar-powered electric stations with a capacity of no more than 5 kWh.

A potential beneficiary will be eligible for co-financing for a solar-powered electric station with a capacity of no more than 5 kWh only if they are a beneficiary of the target(s) specified in the first paragraph of this section.

The program will finance the establishment of at least 400 square meters of new greenhouse farms and/or the expansion/modernization of existing greenhouse farms (without heating systems).

Program Restrictions

The program will not fund the following:

• Purchase of real estate (including land plots);
• Repayment of loans and other obligations;
• Purchase of shares/ownership in enterprises.

Any purchase made within the framework of the program (except for services) must be made from a natural/legal person registered under the laws of Georgia or through import.
