Component for processing enterprises

Receiving applications for processing enterprises component will resume from 12:00 on July 9, 2024. Applications will be accepted until 18:00 on July 19.

Purposes:

  • Establishment of new processing enterprises in municipalities;
  • Establishment of enterprise for new energy-efficient stoves or expansion / modernization of existing enterprises of energy-efficient stoves;
  • Geographic diversification of processing enterprises;
  • Improvement of preconditions for agricultural cooperatives establishment;
  • Development of the base for raw materials;
  • Increase of incomes of rural population. 

Terms and conditions

Processing enterprises establishment will be financed in all municipalities of Georgia, except the self-governing cities: Tbilisi, Rustavi, Kutaisi, Batumi and Poti.

Establishment/modernization/expansion of energy-efficient stoves enterprises will be financed in all municipalities and self-governing cities of Georgia.

Co-financing for following processing enterprises is foreseen by the component: 

  • Meat processing, production of meat products (including "smoked");
  • Milk processing, production of diary products (except processing of cow milk);
  • Fruit, berries, vegetables, citrus processing;
  • Walnuts, groundnuts and other walnut crops (except hazelnuts) processing;
  • Processing of wool and leather;
  • Processing of bay leaf, tea, tobacco;
  • Production of essential oils and spices;
  • Production of animal, poultry and fish feed (combined Food production);
  • Grain processing (except wheat flour production);
  • Processing of honey and other beekeeping products;
  • Processing of seafood and freshwater products and snails;
  • Production of wine, alcohol and alcoholic beverages (except Kakheti wine production in the region);
  • Production of briquettes, pellets, as well as from them and timber (as well as bay leaf from waste) coal production.
